Volleyball: Royals Lose in 4 Sets to Mt. Marty College on Oct. 26

YANKTON, SOUTH DAKOTA: The Royals traveled to Yankton, South Dakota, to play the Mt. Marty College Lancers for the second time this season on Thursday, October 26.  Grace lost in four sets with scores of 23-25, 32-30, 23-25, and 18-25.  The Royals are now 6—22 this season.

The Royals played well against the Lancers and lost the first set by a mere two points.  Grace won the second set, which reached 32 points at 32-30.  The Royals narrowly lost the third set 23-25 but ultimately fell to the Lancers when they lost the fourth set 18-25.  Grace recorded 116 digs, led by Chloe Corbett with 26, Alicia Pierce with 23, Taylor Thompson with 19, and Destiny Vazquez with 18.  The Royals also had 50 kills, led by Alicia Pierce with 14, Aaliyah Dunbar with 11, and Kara Peters with 10. 

UP NEXT: The Royals will travel to Manhattan, Kansas, to play rival Manhattan Christian College for the second time this season on Tues., Oct. 31, starting at 6:30 p.m.
