Volleyball: Grace Falls to Dakota State University in 3 Sets

MADISON, SOUTH DAKOTA: The Royals traveled to play Dakota State University on Friday, October 13, and lost in 3 sets with scores of 20-25, 13-25, and 26-28.

Grace only lost the first set by 5 points at 20-25, but they lost the second set 13-25.  Grace almost came back in the hard-fought third set but ended up losing 26-28.   Grace had 28 kills (.103), led by Aaliyah Dunbar with 10 (.417) and Becca Entz with 9, while Dakota State had 50 (.196).  Grace had 62 digs to Dakota State's 76.  Senior Chloe Corbett led the Royals with 23 digs, followed by junior Karissa Negley with 10.  The Royals also had 5 total team blocks. 

UP NEXT: The Royals will travel to Aberdeen, South Dakota, to play Presentation College on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
