Volleyball: Grace Falls to Dakota Wesleyan in 4 Sets

OMAHA, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's volleyball team played Dakota Wesleyan on Friday, Sept. 15, for the third weekend in a row.  The Royals lost in 4 sets to the Tigers with scores of 12-25, 16-25, 25-23, and 18-25, bringing their season record to 3-10. 

The Royals had 43 total kills (.127) while the Tigers had 60 (.307) and 45 digs to the Tigers' 62.  Grace had 10 total blocks, and Dakota Wesleyan had 6.5.  Junior Taylor Thompson and senior Aaliyah Dunbar led the Royals with 15 and 11 kills respectively, aided by sophomore Alicia Pierce with 9 kills.  Senior Chloe Corbett had 23 digs. 

UP NEXT: The Royals travel to Kansas City, Missouri, to play Haskell Indian Nations University on Tuesday, September 19, at 6 p.m.  The next home game will be against Valley City St. on Saturday, September 23, at 7 p.m.
