Volleyball: Grace Sweeps Union College 3-0

OMAHA, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's volleyball team hosted the Union College Warriors on Thursday, September 14, and beat them in three sets with scores of 25—5, 25—10, and 25—15.  With the win, Grace ended their losing streak and brought their record to 3-9. 

The Royals had 33 total kills (.280), led by Alicia Pierce with 10 (.273) and Taylor Thompson with 8 (.538).  Grace also had 15 aces to 5 serving errors.  Senior libero Chloe Corbett had 14 of the team's 32 digs.  The Royals now average 15.43 digs per set, 10.36 kills per set, and 9.62 assists per set. 

UP NEXT: The Royals host Dakota Wesleyan on Friday, September 15, at 7 p.m.  It will be the third matchup between the two teams since September 1, 2017.
