Women’s Soccer: Royals Fall to #19 Midland University 0-8

FREMONT, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's soccer team lost 0-8 to nationally ranked Midland University on Wednesday, September 13. 

The Royals had a hard time keeping up against Midland's offense throughout the game.  In the first half, Midland scored 6 times on 17 shots with 4 assists.  By the end of the game, the Royals had allowed 8 total goals.  Freshman goalkeeper Kallie Gibson had 6 saves in the first half, while keeper Bethany Loux saved 4 shots in the second half.  The Royals also had 2 shots on goal, one from junior Aubrey Raymond and one from Kallie Gibson

UP NEXT: The Royals will host Doane University on Saturday, September 16, at 2 p.m. at Bergquist Stadium.
