OMAHA, NEBRASKA: The Grace University men's soccer team hosted the University of St. Mary Spires on Friday, September 22.   The Royals lost the match 0—5. 

The Royals had a hard time against the Spires' offense in Friday night's matchup and allowed the Spires' first goal three minutes into the game.  The Royals kept them from scoring again until the thirty-first minute.  At halftime, the Royals were down 0—2.  In the second half, the Spires managed to score three more times, and by the end of the game, the Royals lost 0—5.  The Royals had 6 shots, 3 on-goal, and senior keeper Spencer Hoyt recorded 21 saves. 

UP NEXT: The Royals will host Faith Baptist Bible College on Tuesday, September 26, at Bergquist Stadium.
